But, until you know how you're actually spending the money, it's hard to determine what to cut.Hawaii Plannerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04760426766801381563noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2445523662180116681.post-27625887956600191502016-03-01T10:50:27.432-08:002016-03-01T10:50:27.432-08:00Yes! I wonder what M will be like when the kids are out of the house. . . will he still push for $700 worth of groceries?!Hawaii Plannerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04760426766801381563noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2445523662180116681.post-64935556828027907402016-02-29T17:35:11.201-08:002016-02-29T17:35:11.201-08:00I never thought about food categories to keep trac...I never thought about food categories to keep track of until this past month when I only bought produce once. It's very interesting to see. $650 is not a bad budget, especially for a family of four. With just two of us here, I could probably get away with $100/week.Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13940623529019637336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2445523662180116681.post-29619416249801462472016-02-29T13:38:16.210-08:002016-02-29T13:38:16.210-08:00My boyfriend is the same! He likes to have a full fridge and when I take him shopping he throws everything in the trolley.....I keep saying that's not on my list but he buys it anyway. Much cheaper when I go on my own! I like to see an empty fridge too and like throwing stuff together which is rather random but tasty all the same. He really doesn't like it at all.....men!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05243254038799406862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2445523662180116681.post-63527533267123819282016-02-29T12:04:22.972-08:002016-02-29T12:04:22.972-08:00Your husband and mine are a lot alike. Oh well, you are right, sometimes easier just to keep the peace. I bought a tiny tub of prepared cole slaw that was his impulse buy for $4 just to appease him - then told him how much it was when we got home. He was shocked, I don't think he will do that again :)Cheapchickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15158208632054014311noreply@blogger.com
