The weeks are speeding by, as ever. Here's what we're having this week for dinner!
Friday - wrap up last of the leftovers, & burgers for others
Saturday - ribs & potato salad
Sunday - barbecue chicken & coleslaw
Monday - tacos
Tuesday - ribs & potato salad
Wednesday - barbecue chicken & coleslaw
Thursday - tacos
Friday - pizza, or TBD. Whatever we need to eat out of the fridge, before we leave for vacation.
What about you? What's on the menu this week?
Sounds like an easy and delicious week!
ReplyDeleteMy husband did the grilling, so it really is easy for me. Wahoo!
DeleteSpaghetti and meatballs on Saturday, risotto last night. I have ground beef, and a request for meatloaf tonight. Beyond that, I'm at a loss. Daughter's h.s. graduation is Friday, and she insists she wants to go, (Would-Be-College-Boy wanted no part of his two years ago). No parties planned, obviously, and we still have yet to receive tickets, as, due to COVID, they are waiting until Thursday to hand them out, to make sure we don't drop back down a level. In any case, that leaves me with just T, W, and Th to figure out meals. Honestly, I love cooking. It's the planning that I can't stand.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind cooking, but ... I go through cycles where the planning just feels like it's killing brain cells! I also have a weird mix of eaters (Keto, a pretty picky teen & then the other teen + me who will eat almost everything.) I'm mostly always just a bit irritated that it's so hard to plan. Almost every meal ends up with someone adding on or subtracting, which is fine.
DeleteHope that the graduation is lovely for your daughter. Not the same, but Nick graduated from middle school & wanted nothing to do with their "event", which was just the kids walking through the school to various locations for photos, picking up a goodie bag, etc. Wouldn't do it. ;-)
I posted my menu on my blog, but after seeing your Friday pizza, I am wondering if I can sneak one in on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
