I was supposed to be hiking in Lake Tahoe with a friend this weekend, but fire smoke prohibited that. Maybe another time. In the end, it probably works out for the best, as M got home late from his trip last night, & there are just a lot of logistics involved. Instead, we're meeting for a hike & brunch this am, to catch up.
Here's what we're up to today:
- Make a shopping list
- Costco
- Grocery store/produce stand
- Meet a friend for a long hike
- Brunch with friend, after hike
- Take Nick to/from reffing game
- Take Nick to/from tennis lessons (he's teaching)
- Both boys have calculus tutoring tonight
- Figure out the menu plan for the week
- Work in the garden for a bit
- Time permitting, make muffins
Have a great day! I know transporting kids can be a little frustrating at times, but you will miss it when it is gone.
ReplyDeleteI managed to walk at local park, sloth like, post Covid, and fell asleep promptly after walk. I have porch snacks ready, blackberries with cheese and crackers, so I can listen to the crowd at the University football game nearby, while I watch replays on my phone thanks to Facebook friends…..lol. I can also retreat inside if too hot. I am not feeling up to crowds, even if outside. Cindy in the South
ReplyDeleteI've spent the day helping my daughter establish norms for her and new pup. She's overwhelmed as it happened so quick. I think they'll find their stride.
ReplyDeleteIt's rough out in Tahoe this week, my friends reported the smoke has been too much.
ReplyDeleteFor a day meant to be spent visiting with an old friend, I did manage to squeeze in a few things. I wrote (briefly) in the kids' journals for the first time in over a year, organized some food for the week, and did a bit of work to ease my Monday pains.
Whoops, forgot to sign my last comment! This is Revanche :)
ReplyDeleteWe went to a few yard sales and came home and took a nap. 😂 it was a good day and I hope yours was too.
