Here are a few pictures of the fun!
Sam, my oldest, clearing some serious logs in the forest. :-)
Girls, on a walk at the beach (sister to the left, BFF to the right):
And, finally, the view from the brewery where we stopped for lunch in Pacific City. Absolutely stunning!
Feeling so lucky for all of the amazing support I have in my life. Life can be challenging, and busy, and crazy, and make you want to throw your hands in the air, or lay down and pull the covers up over your head & not come out. But, having people to share your experiences with makes all of the difference.
I find that, after a trip like this, I'm a better wife & mom, and more relaxed at work. What more could you want? :-)
And, on to the weekend! I need to get my personal life sorted out, as I'm heading to London on Sunday.
How do you recharge yourself? If you haven't, schedule some "you" time for the weekend.
Glad you had a wonderful revitalizing trip!
ReplyDeleteIt was just what I needed. I'm ready for more time off. ;-)
DeleteSounds wonderful, and like your vacation accomplished exactly what it was supposed to do!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love Pacific City and the surrounding area. Friends had a house in Tierra del Mar, and a couple of times let us stay there when they couldn't make it down. Long walks on the beach, wine and cheese from Tillamook as well as trips to the creamery for ice cream. Pure relaxation! Glad you all had such a great time!
It was a fantastic trip - I've never been to Pacific City, but it will now definitely be on our list of activities when we make it to the beach house!
DeleteSounds fabulous! I am thrilled you recharged and came back ready to go.
ReplyDeleteWe have a week long trip in June, but I am in for intense between now and then.
Hope the weeks pass quickly until your trip - we all need that time off to recharge!
DeleteI'm happy for you! Your schedule keeps you flying-recharging deserved.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'm done with traveling for 5 weeks, and it sounds so blissful! :-) Can't wait.
