It's a bit of a strange week, with two work dinners for me. But, we will plan for the meals & ensure everyone gets fed!
- Friday - chicken wings & gyozas
- Saturday - Out, after a late soccer game
- Sunday - tacos
- Monday - steak & roasted butternut squash
- Tuesday - I have a work dinner, M & the boys will have leftover tacos
- Wednesday - I again have a work dinner (I've had none since January of 2020, but now two in a week), & M will make pizza with the kids
- Thursday - balsamic chicken over pasta
- Friday - TBD, but perhaps samosas & chicken? We typically keep things very easy on Fridays
What about you? What's on your menu for the week?
Nothing special on our menu this week. Just using up what is here before I go grocery shopping this week. Two work dinners in one week is a lot after not having my since Jan 2020. Seems like things are getting back to normal more and more.
ReplyDeleteYes, I can't believe there are two work dinners! I could theoretically skip one, but not the other. I'm waiting to see how things play out with the boys schedule for the week to make a final decision
DeleteI am aiming to have two vegetarion days every week. Today was the first day. I plan to make egg salad to use up the celery, soup and toast for a couple of meals, homemade hummus and crackers or toasted slices of baguette, fish and salad, Turkish style ravioli (meat stuffed pasta shells served with garlic yogurt) this week.
ReplyDeleteI love egg salad & rarely make it. I should add it to the list. I've never heard of Turkish ravioli, but it sounds fantastic.
DeleteI just made a list of possible meals. DH had a weird shop for me, so now I'll likely change a couple things up-add or take away options. It sounds like your household is getting back to a more pre-Covid routine, even though who knows when life will feel truly normal again.
ReplyDeleteWe are slated to go back to the office in January (right now, it's optional), so that I think will really adjust the schedule.
DeleteYour food sounds great! I am just eating rice mixed with collards, mustard Greens, and turnip greens mixed together with a little garlic, Apple cider vinegar, and horse radish sauce. Sometimes I do hot pepper sauce or hot sauce. I am just gonna eat that this week and maybe a baked potatoes or sweet potato. Cindy in the South
ReplyDeleteThat sounds delicious & healthy!
DeleteWow, two work dinners in one week.
ReplyDeleteNothing really special on our menu this week unless I make the beef rolls.
God bless.
It's very strange - today will be my first day back meeting with a group. We will be masked (required in my county) & there will be no outdoor dinner as planned (it's raining), but so very strange.
DeleteWe are still doing soccer tryouts, so easy meals continue to rule here. Glad you are having nicer weather.
