Having a menu plan is the only way I can keep things together!
Here's what we're planning this week:
- Friday - making the last of the duplicate Hello Fresh dinner (Italian chicken sandwiches & baked potato wedges)
- Saturday - chicken curry & rice
- Sunday - fesenjan (pomegrante/walnut/chicken Persian dish) with rice
- Monday - burgers (freezer) + some sort of side dish
- Tuesday - leftover curry & rice
- Wednesday - any remaining leftovers. If none, chicken caesar salads
- Thursday - my parents are flying in, Nick has a tennis match & Sam has soccer. Likely pizza delivery
- Friday - chicken fajitas, chips, guacamole & all of the sides
What about you? What are you making this week?
Yikes, busy week ahead with all the sports the boys do. But you will rock it.
ReplyDeleteTwo weeks left until the tennis season is over! :-) Home stretch of school sports for the year.
DeleteI've already switched things since yesterday. The carnitas meat and chicken are froze solid. I think I'll skip dinner-have fruit and leave the two extra sliders for my husband, I don't feel like cooking or eting today.
ReplyDeleteI have those days, particularly when it's really warm out. I don't feel like eating, and just having a few small snack items.
DeleteYou are going to be very busy. Your menu sounds lovely.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
The curry turned out so well. Yum! It also makes great leftovers.
DeleteHope you enjoy the parents visit and all the comings and goings this week will bring!
ReplyDeleteWe are looking very forward to the visit. Sam asked if they could come earlier, to get "bonus Sam time". I love that he still enjoys family time, even as a teen.
DeleteWow. This all sounds so good.
ReplyDeleteMonday was veggies and hamburger soup with GF cornbread (first time recipe on the cornbread and it was a hit).
Tuesday was leftovers.
Wednesday is homemade mini pizzas.
Thursday is egg and bacon wraps.
Friday is meatballs and rice and veggies.
Saturday is date night...so not sure what we'll cook up (we do date night at home).
I also realize there is quite a bit of meat in this week which is fairly unusual!
