It was lovely to have the time with the boys on Friday - the days are going by too fast, and getting time alone with them is rare!
- Friday - Mom & boys night out dinner
- Saturday - kebabs, rice & yogurt/cucumber sauce
- Sunday - tacos
- Monday - pulled pork & coleslaw
- Tuesday - garlic noodles with beef & broccoli (carried over AGAIN, because I forgot to buy ground beef)
- Wednesday - leftover garlic noodles
- Thursday - any remaining leftovers
- Friday - baked chicken and pasta
What about you? What's on the menu this week?
Let me know if you have the address you were asking for recently - I can send it to you if you still need. sms11462@gmail.com SusieQ
ReplyDeleteThanks - I sent you an email!
DeleteThis week's menu requires no cooking. I am going to basically heat up whatever is in the fridge and freezer. Chicken, Rolled and stuffed chard, chili, meat patties, salad fixings. I will probably bake my first sourdough bread and that's all! How wonderful to have a mom and sons night out. Take care!
ReplyDeleteI love a menu without cooking! And, so so envious of your sourdough bread! I've been wanting to try it forever.
DeleteI am still planning on trying the garlic beef and broccoli meal here. It sounds so good.
ReplyDeleteIt's still on the list - we've just had a wild few weeks.
DeleteStill trying to use up items here. Hopefully after this week things will be a bit more under control. I seem to forget to use things up in the freezer regularly.
ReplyDeleteYour menu sounds lovely.
God bless.
We go through waves of low inventory freezer, to super packed/can't fit anything inside.
DeleteThe garlic beef and broccoli does sound so good. We are eating easy meals this week, which is a nice change up.
ReplyDeleteSame! I'm enjoying a few easy meals as well.
DeleteAww, I love your dinner out with the kids. I should do that with DS again when we're settled in our new home.
ReplyDeleteIt's really nice to get the time together. We also have three birthdays within a month, so we will some birthday dinners as well.
DeleteI pretty much cook once, eat twice over here for DH and me. I don't mind cooking from scratch two - three times a week vs. every night. I make fresh salad or freshly cooked vegetables to go with, plus freshly warmed bread as appropriate, which keeps leftovers from feeling like leftovers.
ReplyDeleteThis week we're eating Lemony Meatballs with Rice, Spanish Saffron & Chicken Stew, BLTA's, Terriyaki Grilled Salmon, and Turkey Burgers.

I definitely think that will be our plan, when the boys are out of the house. Your menu sounds fantastic!
