We were out of town for the weekend, and didn't get any meals prepped, so we're definitely playing catch up this week. Here's what we've eaten so far, and what's our menu for the days ahead.
- Friday - M, Sam & I ate at the airport lounge before our flight. Sam followed that up with some pizza at my parents house
- Saturday - M grilled burgers at the graduation party, and there were also all kinds of salads, treats & sides. My mom made an incredible chocolate cake, per Nick's request
- Sunday - we were all tired after our flights and not hungry, so no dinner was consumed. I guess my free airplane pretzels? ;-)
- Monday - I found taco meat in the freezer, so M, Sam & I had tacos, while Mr. Social Nick was at a birthday party for a friend
- Tuesday - beef & broccoli (freezer) over noodles
- Wednesday - Korean beef & rice
- Thursday - wings & pot stickers
- Friday - Philly cheese steaks (M will make them)
What about you? What's on your menu plan this week?
Anything I can scrounge from Sissie!
ReplyDeleteI have not been reading blogs regularly for the past week so let me congratulate you one your new job. I hope it is everything you hope it will be!
ReplyDeleteI can't recall if I cimment d already or not, but read them reread. I made a huge crockpot of soup I'm calling spicy bean and vegetable. I had meant to buy pinto beans but they were great Northern so went with it. I'll have to freeze over half but that's ok. Last night was cottage pie. Other meals will be pasta with vodka sauce and I have salad greens to pick, my first, to go with that. I'll probably do a chicken meal or two, stir fry and rice then maybe the broccoli rice chicken and cheese hotdish that'sy favorite with leftover rice from the stir fry.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to clean out fridge bc I will be at the gulf for a work conference for most of next week. I am eating the bbq my son grilled(delicious), lots of watermelon, finished off several vegetables, so salads, and tomato sandwiches with and without cheese. Also, my bathing suit looks funny on me… whatever… lol.
