  1. You always set such thoughtful and intentional goals. I really need to sit and think hard about what I'd like this month to look like. I definitely want to get back more into reading and I also want to put a big dent in my photo organizing project I have going on. I guess that's two things so far!

  2. I finally learned my lesson about the *crap* the kids leave behind when they move. I unloaded youngest's room into the garage and he took what he needed. If he doesn't come back for the rest, it will go to the recycle bin, Goodwill, or trash...I have a running list of goals and projects. I signed myself up for a 5 mile walk on Thanksgiving Day.

  3. Good for you with all the changes still making sure you focus a bit in yourself. I hope Sam's new school works well for him. Part of adulting is being able to adapt and change course.

  4. Well done with your monthly planning. I am going to take a page from your book and declutter 50 items this month. That seems like a reasonable and doable number of things to get rid of.

  5. One of my goals was to make a turkey from the downstairs freezer, which I accomplished and that makes me happy to have that cleared out of there. I also cleaned out the fridge and freezer down there, so another goal accomplished. I hope you meet all of your September goals. :)

  6. I love your lists. I think Kim you should do this. Then I don't. So I guess I will just love yours.

  7. The mix of practical tasks, like cleaning out the closet, alongside fun things like saying yes to adventure and planning trips, makes the month feel purposeful and lively. I might borrow the “use up freezer/pantry items” idea; it’s a smart way to save money and avoid waste. www.melodyjacob.com

  8. I love how thorough and balanced your goals are, covering family, fitness, and personal growth without feeling overwhelming. The mix of practical tasks like decluttering and meal planning alongside fun plans like concerts and saying yes to new adventures makes September feel both productive and enjoyable. Using freezer and pantry items is such a smart way to stay on track with food and reduce waste. www.melodyjacob.com
