Fitness Monday

Because health & fitness are all related, I'm also going to start to track things I've done for my health on any given week (non fitness related). Last week I prepped for my upcoming rheumatologist appointment & did my lab work, and also got a massage to help with some back pain. 

Weight: 151.3, down .6 lbs from last week

Calories: 1,248/day

Steps: 10,700/day

Workouts:

  • Two strength/cardio combo class
  • 2 30 minute elliptical workouts
  • 1 9.2 mile hike

Goals for the week:

  • Increase steps on work days
  • Get in 3 strength workouts
  • Ensure I'm getting enough fiber & protein

  1. I did such a poor job of it last week - I had zero motivation. Hopefully we won't have so much rain this week that I am stuck inside. Walking continues to be my main type of exercise. Getting more fiber has been on my short list lately, too.

  2. Inspiring to me to think about all parts of health. I tend to think of components separately but of course intertwined. My weight has hit a plateau at way too high a number and it's not muscle, and I kniw I need more strength based exercise. My BP is better due to meds but have days it's a bit elevated so know it's diet choices.
