Yesterday was a long & not great work day, that involved a lot of drama. I didn't get a chance to work out, which always negatively impacts my stress level. I should have found time to at least meditate, but I didn't.
I've not felt great this week (mild fever, and some stomach issues), but I feel like I'm finally starting to turn the corner. There's been a lot of sleeping!
Last night was a gorgeous night on the soccer field. Nick's team tied their opponent, and it was a fun game to watch. It was also incredibly chilly!
- Workout class
- Boys have calculus tutoring
- Laundry
- Wash sheets
- Plan for the week
- Shopping list
- Menu plan
- Costco
- Trader Joes & produce stand
- Date night with M (definitely the highlight of the weekend)
That's it for me. What about you? What are you hoping to accomplish this weekend?
We are incredibly short handed at work with change of administration last week but hopefully there will be new hires next week. It has been quite stressful so I understand. I have had a headache all week. I did walk an hour yesterday and this morning. I made tacos for my middle son for lunch today, and may make him either hamburgers, or baked potatoes and chicken with sautéed spinach tonight, I think. If he doesn’t come over, I will do tomato soup for me. It is now raining and I really like soup. Cindy in the South
ReplyDeleteI hope your work drama settles down as well! Mine will definitely be continuing, indefinitely, as far as I can tell. Enjoy your time with your son.
DeleteI had to finish processing clothes, which is done. I need to do a small amount of laundry too. One load is about all I have which is nice. I’m glad you are starting to feel better. Work drama is usually awful. I feel your pain.
ReplyDeleteWork drama is no good. There's no end in sight, which is probably the part that's bothering me the most.
DeleteI am hoping to finish a little sewing (which I did finish one dress). I hope to get some knitting done tonight.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I’m so sorry you haven’t felt well and that work is adding extra stress. I hope you feel better soon.
