I'm back to a normal routine & working hard to control my calories, which means tracking my eating more diligently than in the past few months.
Workouts for the week:
- Monday - skiing
- Tuesday - skiing
- Wednesday - an hour of elliptical + a few (ski) runs with Sam
- Thursday - nothing, driving back
- Friday - Orange Theory
- Saturday - Orange Theory
- Sunday - Orange Theory
Highlights - getting back to calorie tracking, doing a much better job of avoiding evening snacks.
Lowlight - I've been pretty hungry, as my stomach adjusts to the changes, and recovers from the holidays. ;-)
What about you? How are you doing with your health & fitness?
I am trying to get back to portion control after the holidays.... Taking awhile though because of the leftovers (baking that needs to be eaten).
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I need get back to walking, my preferred method of exercise, been really lazy recently.
ReplyDeleteI feel like winter always comes with lower energy (lack of vitamin D/sunlight, I suppose)? So, I have to work harder in the winter months to motivate myself.
DeleteWe are in Palm Springs for a Film Festival, and have been walking instead of driving, averaging between 5-6 miles a day.
ReplyDeleteOnce we return home, we will be implementing a training plan to prepare for our walk across Spain this spring. My cardio output is great. Where I struggle is with weight strengthening and yoga for stretching. I so prefer being outdoors than indoors!

Your current plans and your Spain trip are making me green with envy! Love it!! You enjoy every moment of that.
DeleteI started doing Orange Theory for the strength, which comes with the bonus of harder cardio as well (usually 2-2.5 miles of running, plus rowing). I am the worst at yoga and making time for stretching. I foam roll my back every night (it is always sore), but really need to do a better job with yoga.
Lately the weather has not allowed for outdoor workouts at all!
The first time I did a circuit program like Orange Theory, my husband said my face was white when I returned home, Circuit training is hard! So, yeah on you! :-)
