I'm behind on comments, but wanted to answer the request from Marcia, who asked for my preferred hummus recipe. This is the one we use.
It's quick & easy, and I've been making it for years. Hope you enjoy!
Also, a photo from a gorgeous run at Heavenly.
I make mine the same exact way. I do peel my chickpeas and I use a trick a friend (from India) gave me to always add 1 ice cube when blending. It comes out delicious so who am I to argue?
ReplyDeleteYou are an overachiever peeling those chickpeas. I've done it before when I've entertained & made the hummus. For Nick, I'll just let it be slightly chunkier. ;-) I'll have to try the ice cube trick! (HP)
DeleteThe view is breathtaking! Nothing better for the soul than that fresh air and sunshine!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, it was so beautiful that I stopped, took off both pair of gloves, and took a picture. That's unusual for me (who wants to risk cold hands?!), but it was gorgeous I couldn't resist. (HP)
DeleteYum, I’m off to check it out. I’ve made tickled pink hummus too using beets.
ReplyDeleteI love beets! I wonder if I could get Nick to try this. (HP)
DeleteThanks for sharing the recipe that you use for your hummus.
