What about you? What's on your list of goals for April? Anything big or small that you very much wish to accomplish this month?
I have vowed I do not want another family picture with me feeling inadequate, even if it is in my head. I have 16 weeks until my nieces wedding. Step one of feeling good involves adding working out and nightly walk (real walks-not pup walks, plus increasing fruit and veg to my April goals. Also, continue on my increase in water consumption, decrease soda. Good luck with your goals-I'll be rooting you on.
ReplyDeleteThose sound like great fitness goals! I find that if I eat the right amount of fruit & vegetables, it's much easier to keep the calories under control. I gave up soda as a new year's resolution a few years ago, and it stuck. I now have maybe a can/year.
DeleteI just want to make it through this month breathing. I am so overwhelmed. But, I need to close down the business, move, close on the house, fingers crossed, close on the loan, and pick the phase 1 items. Anything else that happens is a bonus!
ReplyDeleteI hear you! OUr lives are similarly complex at this phase. Here's hoping we both exit the month with as much as possible complete, and a more relaxing summer on the horizon!
DeleteI know you will find the best way to adjust to your new normal. Good for you for remembering to keep the personal things going also(like date nights). I think sometimes we forget about ourselves when there are changes in our lives!
ReplyDeleteI find that it's really important to hit that balance, as you've said. Otherwise, I wake up after a month of no quality time with my husband, and realize how much I miss it, and how much it would have helped us stay better connected.
