I'm late to the party, but definitely need a plan for the week.
- Friday - I ate a really terrible burger & a salad at the Heathrow airport hotel on Friday night, "courtesy" of United. I splurged & ordered a glass of wine, which I most certainly will be expensing through work. No idea what M & Sam ate, although I'm guessing Sam ate at work.
- Saturday - M was ready to make burgers (ha, he didn't know about my Friday dinner fiasco), but I wasn't hungry & my eating schedule was all off. Instead, we opted to drink a glass of wine by the pool & go to bed early. No dinner for me.
- Sunday - the burgers were back for round 2, and M grilled them & we made them with tater tots, lingering in the freezer from an event with Nick's friends.
- Monday - taco salads (taco meat from the freezer
- Tuesday - leftover burgers
- Wednesday - leftover taco salads
- Thursday - grilled chicken salad
- Friday - I may be getting together with my old boss for drinks at her place. If not, I'll keep it very easy, and likely make some gyozas from the freezer.

I just threw vegetables and broth in the crockpot and have an odd amount of pasta so soup for a couple nights, with other freezer finds like the two premade, but raw, chicken cordon bleu. I'm thawing a full chicken too, which likely will take until Wednesday then I'll figure out what to do with it after roasting.

ReplyDeleteI'm going to have grilled chicken salads this week too and would also like to do a taco salad.
ReplyDeleteThis week I am making a mini shepherd's pie, a fajita salad, some tilapia, and some baked chicken. Most of it is super simple. Cooking four nights out of 7 is my new limit!
