Menu plan Monday

We came home to a very empty fridge on Friday night, so we're in the process of stocking up & making meals. As always, our goal is to prep & cook food on the weekends, as weekdays are too crazy. On weekdays, we have leftovers, or fill in items from the freezer.

Here's our plan for the week/what we've already eaten:

  • Friday - we were in transit at the Vancouver airport, so we all had sandwiches at Tim Hortons. Oh, and Timbits (donut holes). Yum!
  • Saturday - egg roll in a bowl over cauliflower rice. Served with eggrolls, for our carb loving teen.
  • Sunday - grilled chicken & rice
  • Monday - leftover egg roll (both kinds)
  • Tuesday - leftover chicken & rice, perhaps with the chicken served over salad
  • Wednesday - spaghetti & meatballs
  • Thursday - tbd, or carnitas/tacos from the freezer
What's on our menu for the week?

  1. Not a real plan, picky eaters here. We will have stuffed cabbage, schnitzel with sides and some kind of pasta during the week. I have big salads with or without the meat every other day. By Friday it will be odds and ends and leftovers.

  2. If in Canadian Airports generally Tim Hortons is the cheapest place for a quick bite. They make really good chili fyi - Mom and I go to one nearby one about 2 times a month. They also make a pretty good London Fog. And zero financial regret :)

  3. We are currently on diets, so pulling protein from the freezers.
