What about you? What's on your menu for the week ahead?
For a chaotic week, it sounds like a great menu. I do love a good Philly Cheesesteak. I can't remember what I have on my menu but I still have a ways to go to empty out my freezer. I see lots of chicken in my future...
ReplyDeleteBurritos, because they are easy to make vegetarian for DD, same with lasagna. The lasagna will happen tonight, and I am baking a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting. I will also make some vanilla ice cream. For the rest of the week we will have, in no particular order, a slow cooked pot roast, homemade calzones, baked salmon, Peruvian chicken, and tuna casserole. What day they fall on depends on the weather.

Sounds like a delicious menu for the week. I'm going to try a new to me recipe for dinner tonight. Cheesy Chicken and Broccoli Patties and hope that we enjoy them. They remind me of chicken nuggets, but this has the addition of chopped broccoli.
ReplyDeleteSuch an exciting time in your life and your son’s life! I made baked beans for Memorial Day, bought a watermelon and turkey hot dogs so that is the menu. I will have kale salad this week and probably some sort of spinach dish. Had boiled shrimp this weekend with a homemade sauce. Cindy in the South
ReplyDeleteI just need to use what we have on hand for every meal this week (except for the quickie road trip to Nashville)
ReplyDeleteThe countdown. Your meals plan sounds organized and delicious. Not planning much of anything but eating down to clean out fridge and freezer.
ReplyDeleteHoping to use up more in the fridge freezer and to get Harvey out on the BBQ while doing so.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
