Fitness Monday

It was not the best fitness week for me. Too much snacking, not enough focus on healthy eating. And, I've fallen off of the wagon of focusing on my 12k/day steps. That will be a renewed focus for the week.

Weight - haven't weighed in this week.

Calories - 1,620/day on average.

Steps - 11,878/day. Need to make sure i'm getting in a short afternoon walk most days, in addition to my workouts.

Workouts:

  • 5 hard workout classes
  • 1 4 mile walk
  • 1 3 mile walk

Overall nutrition - I was too snacky this week, and only had one No S day. I need to really clean this up, in order to make progress.

Goals for the week - increase steps, decrease calories & reduce snacks.

What about you? How did you do with your health & fitness goals this week?

  1. Some weeks just aren't going the way we want. I'm an emotional eater. Being a bit unwell was all that kept me being extra snacky on the weekend.

    1. I am always extra snacky when I'm tired/unwell. I guess the lack of energy leaves me to crave extra calories? Hope you feel better! - HP

I’m pacing at about 1 pound down each week. It is hard, and I have to clear my head each day plus make a daily meal plan, lest unconscious eating occur. It’s hard, to repeat myself.
You have so much to celebrate currently, so I think a break to just live and enjoy the graduation fun is not at all a bad thing!

    1. Wow, 1 lb a week is such great progress! Even when I'm really consistent, I'm usually around .5 lb/week, which it's nice & you can see that drop when you weigh in, which is motivating. - HP

  5. It was a good week for me. My weight stayed solid at my lowest weight and I exercised every day even getting in over 11,000 steps one day. There was a time when I wasn’t able to do that, so this is good. I have to watch the snacking too.
