Another week of trying to plan meals & stay organized!
Here's what's on the menu at our house this week:
- Friday - leftover hot dogs from impromptu pool party
- Saturday -
Nick has prom, so the adults had baked fish (not a teen favorite)This was the plan, but the adults were all dressed up (prom pictures with Nick, so we had an impromptu date night & it was fabulous!) - Sunday - grilled burgers & watermelon
- Monday - Dijon chicken
- Tuesday - Garlic noodles with beef & broccoli
- Wednesday - leftover burgers
- Thursday - leftover Dijon chicken
What about you? What's on your menu this week?
I can't even remember what I planned for this week, but I'm still eating down the foods in my freezer. When I get to where its mostly empty, I will clean it out and re-stock! Your menu looks perfect for the warmer weather we are having in Austin.
ReplyDeleteI have too much milk in the house from when there was a sale. I knew I couldn't use that much normally. So, today I'll make a chowder as I have potatoes to use up, Alfredo sauce, and probably a Mac and cheese to them freeze. I've black beans soaking so thinking burrito bowls maybe too.
ReplyDeleteI have made baked chicken and a pot of pinto beans and rice with diced red peppers, and carrots. Guess I will stuff that into tacos. Cindy in the South
ReplyDeleteImpromptu date nights are a very good thing. Glad you had one. Also thanks for sharing those recipes.
ReplyDeleteThe date night sounds fun and your menu sounds delicious.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, can’t remember last week….there was tuna casserole, salmon, beef pot pie, and that’s all I can recall. I also made some chocolate espresso muffins.
ReplyDeleteThis week I have planned chicken tikka masala, lasagna, fish and homemade sweet potato wedges, (thanks SAM), potato soup and maybe burritos….again. They are nice because I can customize them for each person, and with DD being a vegetarian that’s nice.
