Tuesday Things

Nick had his senior night for tennis yesterday, and it was so fun to see him with all of his friends. It was the opposite of soccer senior night, as it was really, really warm instead of super cold. I was wearing jeans and a top & I was *very* warm. He has a really lovely friend group, and they all showed up with signs, flowers & banners for all of the boys. I will miss seeing all of his friends at the house.

As for today, I'm not feeling like doing much, but things still need to get done! I am not going to my workout class, because I (possibly?) have an interview at 11. This hiring manager has been nothing but flaky for a month. It's so frustrating when someone doesn't confirm in advance, as of course, I adjust my schedule to accommodate his. That's no problem, but on the fourth reschedule, I'm less enthusiastic.

Other things going on:

  • Recruiter call
  • Laundry
  • Yard work
  • Some sort of exercise, likely after my recruiter call
  • Figure out toll bill payment
  • Update budget
  • Meditate
That's pretty much it. I will be thrilled if I can get myself together enough to accomplish this list! What's on your to do list today?

  2. So fun for Nick! I had hectic court this morning but glad it was just thins morning and done by 1 pm! Yay!!!!I was going to walk but it was thundering and lightning so that was a no go after 15 minutes. Oh well. I also paid $75 for a new garbage can from the county bc my old one was damaged during the tree removal and pests were getting in the garbage. I plan to finish my walk after the rain if possible. Then I will probably start rearranging the kitchen to be more orderly. I don’t know what to tell you about a flakey recruiter. I remember, years ago, I really wanted a job and couldn’t get them to call me back, and then, after I had accepted another job, they called !!!!People can be so strange! Cindy in the South

    1. Being done by 1 is excellent! And, I'm with you. The recruiting process is so challenging right now. I'm sure that's the case on both sides - candidates & recruiters. But, it's exhausting! - HP

  3. I spent part of the morning spring cleaning the living room, even though it was not at all spring-like.

    God bless.
