Menu Plan

We had such a wonderful time together yesterday, just the four of us. We all pitched in with the cooking (Nick made the pie on his own & made himself hot dogs wrapped in crescent rolls), M made the drinks, potatoes & a squash salad. I made a roasted chicken (not enough time to defrost a turkey), stuffing, beans & whipping cream. Everything turned out great, and I was also able to get our bags unpacked & all of the laundry done.

Nick & I ran a few errands today (discounted Black Friday gift cards) & used a $5 off/$15 purchase promotional offer at our local grocery store. I picked up the ingredients needed for the bread I bake for the holidays, as well as stocked up on risotto rice, which we're out of.

The fridge is full, and I'm planning the menu for the week ahead. Here's what we're planning on having:

I need to drum up some energy to get in a workout, make a grocery list, and get a few extra chores done. What about you? What's on your menu for the week? Any good recipes for Thanksgiving leftovers?

  1. I think I know the crescent/leftover recipe-it's a good one if I remember. Nice menu. I'm making soup right now and we'll nibble on the odds and ends. Just a week to plan from freezer.
