So, what's on the to do list for today?
- Clean the house
- A trip to the library
- Making the menu for the week
- A trip to Costco
- Washing all bedding
- Wrapping Sam's birthday gift
- Sorting out the summer camps I bought in the school auction
- Going for a run
- Squeezing in yoga?
I think that will be all. I do need to sort the menu, so that M can hit up Costco. So, that's it on our end! The "new' house is being fumigated, so after that, I'll have pictures! What about you? What are you hoping to accomplish this week?
No one better to show the rental property than someone who lived there, you can give them all the pros. It seemed like you enjoyed living there so fingers crossed they rent it.ReplyDelete
They were super nice & friendly, so it was an easy task!Delete
I'm sitting in commons are in a school in South Eastern Wisconsin waiting for my daughters group to go on at 1:10. I will accomplish little othr than to help with hair touch ups, but brought my ap top so hope to maybe do a little writing.ReplyDelete
Hopefully you got some writing done. It's hard to be between events, and killing time. Happens plenty with the kids activities. :-)Delete
When does this lease end? Hopefully if you are on the hook it isn't for too much past your move date. Seems it should rent quickly with the lack of inventory there.ReplyDelete
September, unfortunately. Of course, it won't last that long, but our landlords raised the rate by $600/month, which is what's causing the small delay. Fingers crossed to avoid another month of rent!Delete
Hope they want to live there. Fingers crossed for you!ReplyDelete
Ditto! Keeping the house clean & ready to go is also no fun, particularly while packing.Delete
I hope they are the ones! That is the part I hate the most. We were in the same situation about 10 years ago. Luckily, we found someone very quickly and actually had to move sooner than we thought. I hope it goes the same way with you and our coming up move!ReplyDelete
Thanks! We are getting some stuff done on the house in the mean time, which is fine, but means we continue to have to pay the rent & keep the house "show ready" all the time. It's been a process!Delete
Good luck showing your place! Hope you are able to encourage them to rent it so you aren't out any extra cash!ReplyDelete
Fingers crossed! It would be a huge win to have it rented out for next month.Delete
