Saturday Happenings

Here's what's happening in our house today. It looks like it's going to be about 80, which is the perfect temperature for reading by the pool (in the shade) & potentially enjoying a cocktail. :-)

Other items needing doing:

  • M to cut the boys hair
  • Make a menu plan & shopping list
  • Potentially go to the produce stand. I'm a sucker for their $1 bags, which means I often come home with unexpectedly large quantities of things.
  • Costco
  • Go to a workout class this morning
  • Laundry
  • Finish helping Nick pack for camp
  • Make muffins
  • Pick & dry more herbs
  • Work in the garden
  • Read more of my book club book
That's it from my side. What about you? What are you up to today?

  1. So I take it that Sam is now fully recovered and out of quarantine? Roderick

    1. Sam was symptomatic for two days, and has been testing negative, so he's now out of quarantine. He's pretty excited to be back out again. Today will be his first day he's going to the park, and will still wear a mask.

  2. I read for two hours last night by the last of the natural light. That's my plans tonight. I got errands and some blogging done this morning, a touch of housework, but feeling the heat a bit. I probably shouldn't be doing laundry or running the dishwasher now, but both need to be done.

    1. Reading by the natural light sounds so great! Hope you get more reading time today.

  3. Sounds as if you have a lovely Saturday planned. Hope you are enjoying it.

    God bless.

    1. Thank you! It's been a really nice weekend. Here's hoping you had a good one as well.

  4. Reading by the pool sounds wonderful. It was too hot to yard sale this week and with rain in the forecast from the heat we just stayed home and puttered around the house.
