Goals for July

This will be a month of Sam working, and Nick attending summer camps! Hoping to enjoy this lovely summer month, while still being productive. I'm streamlining a bit this month, to hopefully knock a few more of these off of the list.

Financial

  • Stick to our budget
  • Progress towards side hustle goals
  • List all of M's outgrown clothes on eBay. Go through & donate non-selling eBay items
Family
  • Plan one activity with the kids
  • Finalize plans for Bend
  • Have two dates with M
  • Plan a call with M's family (or, send videos)
Fitness/Health
  • Start posting weekly workout/fitness summaries, to keep myself on track
  • Beat June's calorie burned goals
  • Close rings daily
  • Take advantage of workout classes
  • Meditate 5x

Personal

  • Do something social with friends
  • Finish work volunteer commitment
  • Complete half of training for advisory role
  • Read Biased for book club
What about you? What are you hoping to accomplish in July?

  1. I want to have some fun in July. I've not felt like I've taken advantage of what summer has to offer. Money wise is to track spending and shire up leaks.

  2. I am looking to streamline a few bank accounts and credit cards. I have been chasing credit card points and my patience is wearing a bit thin with them lol.
Continue to get to the gym and work out on the gym machines 3 times a week.
No big trips this summer, but I'd like to get away for a weekend! Maybe St Augustine!

  4. Your goals sound fabulous! I just want to get through with my trial in a week, be able to go to my friend’s wedding out of state, and squeeze in swimming at the lake. Cindy in the South

  5. Are you doing a family trip with the boys to Bend? Sounds so fun!!! (We've traveled there with our RV- loved it!)

Over here we literally just returned from five weeks in Europe (hello jet lag!), so my current priority is to go through our mail and schedule in the fantastic array of summer ocean festival and concert offerings going on here in July (and August). I also am resuming my running this week as I kick off training to run a half marathon in October to celebrate my 60th Bday. I had to stop running some years back due to leg pain, but we finally identified the source of the pain - a large cyst, which has now been removed. I ran a 6k on Memorial Day, just before we left for Europe and I was slow, but it felt fantastic.

    1. For the past 10 years or so, we've done the 4th of July with my family (parents, sister, nephews). Now that we've sold the beach house, we adjusted the timing & are going to Sunriver instead. I think there will be rafting & mountain biking, as well as walking to town, hitting up the super cute brewery, etc. We were there at Christmas, and they got 3 feet of snow! It's typically quite warm in the summer, so they get very distinct seasons in Sunriver. I also love Bend!

So glad you are able to run again. I'm also thinking of doing a half marathon in October! Maybe we can virtually train together. :-)

Hope you get over your jet lag quickly, & have a fabulous time at all of the fun local events.
