September goals

Even though we're trucking through September, I still wanted to set some goals for the month.

Financial:

  • Stick to our budget
  • Progress towards side hustle goals
  • Continue work on plan/budget for when I leave work
  • Continue to list items on eBay/FB, & go through all eBay inventory
Family:
  • Plan one activity with the kids
  • Take Nick for permit test
  • Help Sam with driving practice
  • Have two dates with M
  • Send pictures to M's family
  • Work on travel plan for end of year, & 2023, taking advantage of airline status
Fitness/Health:
  • Post weekly workout summaries
  • Beat August's calorie burned goals
  • Close rings 25 days
  • Take advantage of workout classes
  • Meditate 5x
  • Lose 2lbs
Personal:
  • Do something social with friends
  • Get involved in advisory role
  • More thinking on "post career work" life/goals

  1. I feel like all my goals this month and next will be pipedreams. I'm going to need to support my daughter's dog aquisition more than she imagined. We want him to feel trust and some days she has no options but long days out of the house. Of course I knew this and why we were trying to get her to wait longer until she's really settled. But, he's here now and he's lovely, but work.

    1. Sounds like you have a lot of puppy related adventure ahead! Maybe make a list of a few things that you can do, even when you're at her house, on puppy duty. I usually have an ongoing list of "tasks" that can be completed by phone or computer, but just take time to resolve. That way, you can feel like you're still making a bit of progress!

  3. My goal is to get through my stressful work schedule without drama. My other goal is to hopefully recover a bit more from Covid. I am now sleeping 11 and a half hours, as opposed to 12 hours. Go me… lol..It is strange how it affects different people so differently. Cindy in the South
