Workout Wednesday

I had five hard workouts & one good run this week, besting my 5k time from last year, so I'll take it!

Workouts for the week:

  • Monday - 45 minute elliptical workout
  • Tuesday - Orange Theory workout class
  • Wednesday - Orange Theory workout class
  • Thursday - 5k run with the family
  • Friday - Orange Theory workout class
  • Saturday - Orange Theory workout class
  • Sunday - Orange Theory workout class

Eating: Generally, there was a lot of eating & way more dessert than usual, thanks to the holiday & long weekend.

Highlights/Lowlights: I'm still snacking too much, and am trying hard to get things back under control post Thanksgiving.

Focus for the week ahead: my goal is to brush my teeth after dinner, to hopefully avoid evening munchies.

What about you? How are you doing with your health & fitness?

  1. My only victories we're back to long walks, though it's freezing out today, and generally ignoring desserts.

  2. Well, let's see. I took a handful of meds this morning and ate two crackers. It hurt like hell to swallow them.

  3. I've tried the 'brush teeth after dinner' thing before. Sometimes it helps; sometimes I brush twice! ;) Let's hear it for good dental hygiene!

    1. Exactly - if nothing else, it's not going to hurt my dental hygiene!

  4. Well done. I haven't been able to get out for a walk so have been walking around the house.

    God bless.

  5. From Precious: I am doing well. Hubby had a heart attack in October so we have been concentrating on his health. He has lost 32 lbs. since his heart attack. I am so proud of him. I stubbed my toe today and it is black so no treadmill but I did go on the recumbent bike.
